I, for one, just started liking Shanle a whole lot more. Whether he sucks on the field or not, that was awesome.


First, Whitner's shot: "If you have the right type of guys in that (defensive) room, you don't have to set bounties or pay money for guys to play physical and play hard."

Sounds like Shanle has a "Chip on his shoulder" and daring anyone to try to knock it off...

Hopefully the WHOLE TEAM feels like that...but will need to temper the anger or Der Kommissar may decide to step in.

hah pretty funny...i really don't like any CA teams...49ers (obvious reasons), raiders - ugh, raiders fans are like falcons, and chargers - i really just feel bad for the team (fans are poseurs and management blows).

The Saints will stomp a mud-hole in their a$$es and then walk it dry!!

I've lost respect for both of these guys.

Shanle has listened to his "no mans land" coverage on the throw that beat us in San Fran last year all off season. I'm sure he is hypersensitive to all things 49er related. Hope he does come out with a chip on his shoulder for the season.
