falcons message boards and camp updates

I was searching the Falcons board to see what our competion is doing and noticed The Falcons fans are way less excited and involved in their camp than we are in ours. NOne of them seem to grasp what is going on to the depth of the posters on here. Here we are all excited about what is happening, but those guys seem to have no emotion at all whatsoever. Their explanations are very vanilla and consist of "Roddy looked good" Assante looked great "so and so sucks".

Falcon fans only care when they are winning, no true loyalty there.

Ashley 08-02-2012 10:47 AM

I only come on here to voice the same thing. I really do hate those fans and that organization. I dont care if some people here want to see it. I just will always say the same thing. Screw Atl

Who cares exactly, about Atl.?

DaveyFoSho 08-02-2012 10:57 AM

Not football but interesting enough... I just flew into ATL on my way to Cozumel. Had a 7hr layover in ATL, so we went to see the new Batman movie and stopped into TGI Fridays which was right next to the theatre for a bite. Just so happens the Braves were visiting the Nats that day. Out of 50 TV's not one was showing the game.... found it very odd.

Atalnta isn't a sports town.......they have sports there. Just not any fans. I used to be a Braves fan. But not anymore.

I cared in 2007. I cared a lot.

SaintKiller 08-02-2012 01:12 PM

Its plenty of loyal fans here but its hard to see pass everything else that goes on in Atlanta.

ChrisXVI 08-02-2012 02:52 PM

It's probably harder to see passed everything else going on in New York, Chicago, Dallas, etc. but they are passionate about their teams.

Try DC as well... Nations Capital... all the political BS. But the Skins reign supreme. I am glad to see hockey becoming more and more popular here to as that is probably my favorite sport.

... hmmm, you don't say? We do offer a Black&Gold Hockey Group for those who, on occassion, like to take a break from the NFL and dabble in the 'coolest game on ice' ... just so happens we're holding a membership-drive and have room for a Caps fan,.

New Orleans Saints - Black and Gold - Black & Gold Hockey Group

It doesn't surprise me that Falcons fans are not excited about the start of camp...keep in mind, this is a fanbase that usually don't show up for the actual games until the second quarter!

Actually, it is the meeting they skip out on because they are too drunk to go.

Atlanta is a transient city. Very few people who live in Atlanta, are actually from Atlanta. I'd say their lack of loyalty has more to do with this, than it does with "everything else"...

Biggest "Band Wagon" fans on earth. I love their radio team. Every play is just like this "You know, if he would have broken three tackles and ran 60 yards it would have been TD!!" of "If the pass had been complete and he didn't get tackled, he would have scored!" Great!
