How many Picks/Sacks do we get in Hall of Fame game
 

I Can still remember our first preseason game under GW, and we came out flying, we had tons of sacks, forced fumbles, vilma had 2 picks

Now we have a new D and reports from camp are;

Its alot more fundamentally sound
They ask alot of the LB's
Spags will send 4 guys blitzing more often than not

My Question is;

Do you think we see something in the hall of fame game that shows our D getting the scheme together, i'm talking stats wise

How many picks/sacks/forced fumbles does everything think we get?

I would just be happy to see starters on the field...

I think Spags keeps it simple in this first game. Game one of the regular season after the players are more comfortable, it's on!

Maybe 2 picks, a gentlemens agreement in place. I would not want to show our hand on D any in pre-season, save it all for the regular season. Gregg Williams and the 49ers pre-season game in point:

I believe it will be extremely basic. An attempt to make sure everyone understands the basic set, maybe a few stunts added. Probably just wants the players to see the schemes and for the coaches to see what they have and what they dont have.

Cosidering that our safeties both have stone hands, and we will most likely be playing with 3rd 4th and 5th string corners I don't see many intercptions. We could get a couple of sacks though.

I'm just kidding... to be realistic, I think you guys could get 1 sack and maybe 3 interceptions in the game. If they start Kevin Kolb you're going to get 3 picks.

HOF game will be very vanilla....Much like the Hall of Fame game against the Steelers a couple of years ago

Not expecting anything as this is usually the case. Hoping for no injuries and would like to see Joe Morgan take one to the house.

I think we keep it sympe and are more about working on fundamentals all preseason with no qualms about losing. That way when the season starts people will think we cant overcome our distractions and look past us for the first few games.
