Pats incorporate Sean Payton video into practices with Saints
 

So as the Patriots and Saints practiced together in advance of a Thursday night preseason game, Belichick and the Patriots had a present for Payton’s Saints, according to an observer at the sessions. Both practices opened with portions of Saints coach Sean Payton’s stirring locker-room speech from Kenny Chesney’s Boys of Fall video. And Wednesday’s session ended with the song When The Saints Go Marching In played over the loudspeakers.

Damn... Why did they have to go and do something so cool and classy?! I didn't want to have respect for the Pats lol. In all seriousness though, that was an awesome gesture.

Maybe he's just showing his gratitude that another "gate" has popped up so he doesn't have to hear about his anymore. Still, classy gesture!

I quit hating BB a couple of years ago. He presents himself in his press conferences in such a way that it's hard to like the guy. But after awhile I began to see why he is the way he is. Those East Coast media guys are vicious! After that special that NFLN did on him I actually began to only not hate him but to like him.

It's like they are welcoming us into the club. Do we all get gift packs or something?

I am not going to like them though, no matter what. Never. Ever.

Remember when Sean did his impression of Belichick with the hoodie and everything? I guess Bill couldn't pull off an impression of Sean Payton. :smile:

A close friend in Alaska is from Mass. and his team has always been the Pat's, as mine has always been the Saints. Out of respect, I've always root for the Pat's when they are not playing the Saints and he does likewise.

I've learned to like Belichik's way of handling himself, even through "cheat-gate", which was much ado about nothing.

This display of class just reinforces them as my AFC team, and I'd welcome a Pat's-Saints Super Bowl.
