If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
How many turnovers do you think we would see this preseason so far?
I vote at the most, 1. Thats generous, I recall last seasons preseason we never got any turnovers either, I think maybe 2 all preseason? |
Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
probably none, but we might have a couple more sacks... Brady would have put points on the board though, I'll take a still standing but inefficient Brady anyday, oh wait

Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
What I believe to.
I think Kolb would of did more, Skelton would of looked like Joe Montana. I believe Brady would of just had a long TD bomb in 2 plays. Mallet and crew would eat up the defense, it would of been ugly. Last preseason Saints vs Patriots game ended something like 27-21 or 27-24 was it? it was more scoring in that game, this game was just a stalemate. |

I heard he got a breast reduction.

Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
........ we would still suck on defense
|
Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
He'd have difficulty calling any plays as there'd be pieces of him hung from just about every lamp post on Bourbon Street.
|
Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
Hed be showing the playbook like he did in the SF playoff game. I cant wait until we see the defense go all out.

Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
I just thank god he's not !

Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
Still too early for me to give Spags the green light. It does look improved I'll say that much.
As for the turnovers last year, GW put them in positions to make those plays they just dropped most of em' so I don't entirely blame him. He also stopped quite a few good RB's that I thought for sure would have big games. The constant blitzing though with no results...it just got out of hand so I was ready to start a new era. |

Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
If GW was still our D-coord the 49ers would go the length of the field to win the game...twice. Oh, wait

I vote the exact opposite. He would have blitzed like crazy and we'd have destroyed many of these back-up QB's we've faced. It would be smoke and mirrors, but I think we'd have more turnovers. I like what Spags is doing. He's developing his scheme with the D-line we have. The blitz is much more effective if your front four applies pressure. Lets make a great roux with the defensive line before we add all the spices from the blitz. |
Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
IF GW was still here Drew would still be holding out.
The problem with GW is that he wasn't coaching fundamentals!!! We have a bunch of players on D still regressing and not learning anything. YOU CAN"T JUST PUT PLAYERS IN POSITION TO MAKE PLAYS. You have to COACH them to make plays. THe only reason we won the SB was Sharper... he was actually coaching fundamentals to the D. |
Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
Let's see One hit to the head $2000.00,One sack with bodyslam crunch $1500.00, One forced fumble with handslap for possible hand injury $1500.00
Think we would have two turnovers and Greg would have been out of about $5000.00 |
Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
....WE COULD STILL MAKE ALEX SMITH LOOK LIKE MIKE VICK! http://cdn0.sbnation.com/entry_photo...xtra_large.jpg |

Re: If Gregg Willams was still D-Coordinator......
