What's The Status Of
 

What's the status of the saints in regards to signing the two VooDoo standouts Dan Curran and Monty Montgomery? Last I heard was that the VooDoo would have to cut them and they would have to clear waivers before the Saints could sign them due to Bensons ownership in both teams. If this is correct my guess is that they would wait until the start of training camp which would give them a better chance of clearing waivers. Does anybody else have any info on this subject?

SAINTS BEAT: Look for the Saints to add VooDoo standouts Dan Curran and Monty Montgomery to the roster sometime before the start of training camp. Curran, a fullback-linebacker who was selected first-team All-Arena Football League, is expected to compete at fullback. Montgomery will play safety and cornerback.
