I forget how I found this site. I stumbled in and there must have been fly paper on the ground, because I haven't been able to leave. From someone who has been a part of other boards, this place HANDS DOWN has the BEST members. Mark has done a great job with the site and he and other MODS is what makes the site run like a well oiled machine!

I have no need to go anywhere else to find news about our team. Anything I want to know is going to be right here.

So a BIG thank you to Mark and all the other MODS and a BIG thank you to the members!! It takes a collective effort to have such an great site!

I'm new here still, don't add my thoughts a lot but I enjoy this site & the info I get here. I get to see topics that I don't normally get to here in Kansas. I don't even go to the nfl.com site anymore.

The Black and Gold is my one stop for all things Saints. I check the B&G Twitter feed every morning to see whats new. Best source on the internet for news and updates on the team. I salute you and the excellent job that you do!

The last thing I do before bed and after waking up is check the site for news. During the day, when time permits, I seek information to share.

What I like is we may have disagreements from time to time, but we love our SAINTS!

My only regret, is I wish I could do more to make the site even better (if that is possilbe).

Now back to our regular program! :)

I was unable to get on after the server crash and was forced to troll elsewhere. I was so happy to be back on board after reading the crap that other boards post.
The thing I like best about this site is how much information that our members share. There is always a link to access additional information. Love it!!! Thanks Halo.

I can't remember how I stumbled onto BlackandGold.com, but it was just after the Superbowl win. I'm rather isolated here in Alaska, and was looking for a sense of belonging to a group of fans that I could communicate with often.

I now look forward to visiting with you guys daily, especially having met some of you personally as I travel to games. The personal visits are a way of connecting with those who I would never have met otherwise, and I now look forward to it when I travel.

I appreciate everyone here, even those who have been hard to get along with or who have been just plain ornery. Canton in 3... 2... 1...

I'd like to see the site flourish. Market this site, Halo, because you've got something here.

I'd like to see a concerted effort at tailgating TOGETHER at all away games. That creates bonds between human beings, not just internet banter between Avatars.

I have only been frustrated in the Albums section with how many pictures I can post or their size. That's it. Everything else about meeting with you guys daily is AWESOME.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. Great people, great discussions, all things saints in one simple and convenient place.

I first stumbled here in 2001 (If memory serves me right it was .net back then, but that's neither here nor there) and I've been around ever since, mostly just lurking until recently.. In all that time I've never found another site that compares to this one. News breaks here long before it ends up on those *ahem* other sites. People here participate and contribute more.. and as others have mentioned, the maturity here puts this site in a class by itself. I don't post much, mostly because my only internet access is via smartphone, but I come here frequently throughout the day just to see what's going on. I'm hooked on this place and I can't get enough.

Thanks Halo, for all you do to keep this site running smoothly and to make it such a great place to be.. and thanks to all you guys who search the internet for anything and everything saints related and share it with the rest of us. this is my favorite website, period.

This site is Great! Best one out of the 3 hands down. This site has allowed several of us Saints fans in Houston to gather together to watch games and also have the annual MudBugs boil which is now 3 years running.
Halo you rock! I will still like to see a huge gathering for those that can at a Saints game though.

Love this site, nada to think of towards improvements. Just want to add to the "transplant" kudos. It's great to get Saints and Hornets news and conversations but def enjoy talking to folks who have share the general mindset/personality the region breeds....you know, a ****ing sense of humor.

Definitely my favorite Saints site. I have completely stopped looking anywhere else for anything Saints related. The discussions are fun, even when the subjects are occasionally out of left field. The vast majority of people here are intelligent and easy to talk to. I've been involved in just a small amount of disagreements, but it's not a big deal... Anywhere else I've gone in the past to talk a little football, I have been met with a blitz of uneducated fools who are more interested in arguing for the sake of argument than actually trying to add something relevant to the subject.

Everyone involved with getting, and keeping this site up and running smoothly as it does have done an excellent job, and I thank you!

Halo, I hope you check your PayPal account often! I am sure any and all, however large or small, donations are welcome. Having worked in the Telcom industry, I know bandwidth can be quiet expensive and those servers are not CHEAP (nor is the software, upgrades, and maintenance). :)

B&G is not only the best Saints site I've been to, it's one of the best run websites I have had the privilege of being a part of, period.

This website kick's the other's asses, people here don't have to worry about elite *******s running around power hungry..
We moderate to keep this place nice and tidy and free of anything that disrupt the cool atmosphere, but don't try and take freedom of speech away from people..
there are other places that tend their websites like royal guardians that will first cut your tongue if you speak out of line "in their eyes" then cut your throat if you continue.

I think what he is referring to is instead of paying for Tapatalk, have a Black&Gold app that way the funds go directly to the site. I wouldn't mind this either. I think it would be pretty cool!

I'd like a smart phone app for this site. Something that would cost up to $5 is what I would pay. That money could be recycled back into the app program or this site for improvements or parties or whatever they may need money for. Tappatalk is a forum app but I'd like a specific black and gold app. I'd like to see the logo onmy phone screen

I like it alot. You guys have made the site easily accessible for everyone. The flow is great and the members are the best ever! (Me included) The moderators are patient and forgiving but tactful when they need to be and I actually like some of them. I've had my own run ins over the years but that's because my medication doesn't work right sometimes. I don't go anywhere else for my Saints Fix. You can trust the information that's posted here and that means alot. Thanks guys for all you've done.
