Robert James might be a diamond in the rough. Who knows. That's partly what the preseason is about. Seeing who has the talent to be a starter in the NFL. Dent played well in the game against the Ravens, too.

I watched him every Sunday. He was almost never the one making a big defensive play that won games for us or changed the game.

I as said, he lacked coaching, community support and real fans in the stands. These are all things that the Falcons lack and prevent them from being relevant moving forward without major change.

That is a definition of your whole team. Nobody made a big play, offensively or defensively when it mattered. When it comes down to that it isn't the players. It is the coaching and the culture, which includes the community and fan support.

I have been an Atlanta Braves fan since the 1960's and I know the apathy of the Atlanta fans. I don't mean to be cruel, but there is no way you could imagine what it like to be a Saints fan when that is the whole end all and be all. It is a passion. It is away of life. It is a way of living and a way of dying.

The Saints' players learn this. Lofton has learned this and embraced this.

I like playing the Saints becuase it takes every single ounce of effort we have to win against you. That's a challenge.

Considering in the last 4 years we are 10-2 against your Falcons it looks like your team needs to put in more effort.

On your Lofton 4th Qtr joke... In 2011 he had 32 4th Qtr tackles.. Only two less than his 1st Qtr tackles.
