This is important. I had been waiting to see what Smith was going to say in regards to RG's assertion. I thinks she may very well have grounds now to decide for the players. I find it funny that the NFL originally decided that the NFLPA would not get any time, and then all of a sudden, and with no proof, RG is saying he had reversed that letter in a conversation. If it is he said/ she said- in my opinion it should go off of whatever documentation they have. The last documentation is a letter from the NFL denying Smith's request....???

Dig it! Now I know I have kinda said this before...but take a minute to check out the comments underneath the article, and notice how different they are from when the story first broke....when Bountygate first broke it was like 90% people slamming and ripping the Saints and 10% asking where's the evidence, underneath these types of articles. Now it's MUCH more even between the sides, and I didn't bother to add them all up or anything, but I think it's actually now tipped in the Saints FAVOR, and against Goodell, in the "court of public opinion" where people comment and argue underneath these articles.


And it's also important to me, that you see more people commenting under these Florio stories nowadays, who have "handles" or user names that DON'T match up to being diehard homer Saints fans, and they are commenting in FAVOR of Vilma/Saints and against Goodell. It's not all "GUMBOWHODAT" AND "BREESUS9" type screen names, writing these comments. It's regular people. That's huge.

You wouldn't expect a person with a handle like "touchdownroddywhite" to be supporting the Saints, against Goodell, but there it is. I've seen some others, names like "jetguy56" and "elway7" type stuff -- obviously these are fans of other teams who read about the sport and care. So this is not just a tiny ragtag band of whiny Who Dat fans, who are starting to see the stink on this thing, folks. It's really getting out there.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. Another thing I've noticed in those comments; There's a higher proportion of idiots defending Goodell than there was. I think more and more intelligent people are holding off on sticking up for him anymore.
