Despite the disappointing finish in Friday's 27-24 preseason loss to Jacksonville, two of the players about whom the Saints fan base was most excited had big nights. Both of them, it should be noted, arrived with the Saints as undrafted free agents.

Wide receiver Joseph Morgan and running back Travaris Cadet all made plays that mattered. Interim head coach Joe Vitt made it clear production in the games would matter most when it comes to deciding roster spots, and Cadet and Morgan just gave Vitt solid food for thought.
