Smash mouth, bowling ball, "3 yards and a cloud of dust" SEC-style running closes out games, runs clock, and forces the opponent to take offensive risks, which if we're clinging to a lead in GB or NY may be the facet that our offense requires. I know Eli is 'clutch' (Or is simply a lucky mfer; I know, neither here nor there) but the percentages go way down the more he throws that long ball at the end of games. ![]()
In short I hate Ivory's "glass-like" injury history, but what he brings to the table is kinda unique on our squad, no matter how versatile Cadet is. That being said I voted for Cadet (he's got those 'in-tangerines,' or what-have-you) anyway cause if we found one bruiser as an UDFA, what with our track record, something tells me we can find another |
