Because his articles only upset fans of 1 of 32 teams... The other 31 enjoy reading how we are down and out and not sportsman like. It fuels and justifies their hatred. Its pure commiseration.

Thing about this story is, I'm not really hearing elsewhere, on the internet or otherwise, besides Saints forums, where anyone even noticed the OTL piece. I think it may come in as a ratings and story fail for ESPN (SPEN) as most followers of the NFL, media included, are just saturated with the story and don't care much anymore. Just sayin'.
