I thought I read somewhere he failed a drug test? Not sure though...

Re: And the hits just keep on coming. Humber suspended 3 games
I thought a drug test failure was a 4 game suspension.

Ramon's are notorious for failing drug tests.

What the hell?!? So Lofton's going to be questionable for a little while with that high ankle sprain (which is always a nagging injury that lasts ages) and now his main back-up is out of the mix for a bit. Who the hell plays MLB come week 1 if Lofton's still not 100%??

Ok just found out that Hawthorn is injured too and had surgery. Anyone else know about this? I somehow missed it. We just might as well not have a LB corps.

Re: And the hits just keep on coming. Humber suspended 3 games
Yep... Every LB we brought in to re-vamp the position is hurt now. All we can hope for is that Lofton can be back by week 1. I'm hoping that Casillas can stay healthy enough to fill in for Hawthorne at WLB if he needs to.

My memory isn't what it used to be, but I don't remember everyone freaking out as much in previous years about minor training camp injuries.
It was practically suicide watch 2 weeks ago about our CB's, now LB's. I believe the only serious injury we had was Chamberlain, who was a likely back-up/ST player anyway. |
