Should we sign John Taylor at DT (6'11" 500 lbs)?

This John Taylor goes by "House" and he's a defensive tackle for the Central Penn Piranha of the Gridiron Developmental Football League.
House stands 6-foot-11, weighs 500 pounds and wears a 6XL jersey. For comparison's sake, William "The Refrigerator" Perry, tipped the scales at 382. The Fridge was smaller than House by a whole cheerleader -- 118 pounds.

He's too old, of course. But an entertaining thought nevertheless!

WOW, 35. He better start losing it fast. 5 more years and he could be dead.
He would only be useful to any NFL in a short yardage situation. That's too specialized for a roster spot.

Besides, there's no way the Saints have any pants that big.

He would eat Roman Harpers neck.

Then we sign him to a 3 year contract.

Line him up infront of Shanle, with his mass we do not have to worry about Shanly doing or not doing anything.

The hurricane cone of uncertainty will never fall around Shanle.

Nope. If we feed that thing, it'll never go away ...

Thats a big SOB. The biggest guy I ever played was 6´9 450lbs and that already was a (wide) load to handle.

Away games just doubled in cost.

I do commend him for at least playing football instead of sitting at home and letting that size go to waste.

With all the good food we have in New Orleans he would be 550 lbs or dead before he suit up.

Why would we sign this guy?! To remind ourselves of what Jonathan Sullivan would have looked like if we kept him another year?

He could probably beat Harper in the 40 yard dash. Chased down by Bradford. D*** shame.

4th & 1 from anywhere on the field. Make him the fullback option. He falls forward for that and more!

Yikes!!!!!

Spraypaint...........ewww!

Harper's neck hell, the entire defensive backfield! It would be kinda fun to see him on the field though. Where do y'all find this kinda stuff to post?

You would probably have to get him on and off the field with a fork lift and that would require a lot of time outs. :)

How does one get that big.

Maybe, but not with the replacement refs.. I can see them now:
"neutral zone infraction, number 192, having heart attack and falling forward, 7 yards from the spot of the foul, repeat 5th down!"

No it wouldn't. The way the refs are delaying the games he would have plenty of time to waddle out there.

It's rare that I laugh when I read a post, but after watching the nitwits that are masquerading as NFL referees this year, I definitely laughed at your's.

Yes and just let him stand in the middle of the line. Who could knock him over? NOBBODY.

Funny they named him house, but he probably can't get inside one without a sideways turn

Yeah and cut blocking him might cause an earthquake if he falls over.
