WOW! Tell ME WHERE exactly I called out ANYBODY or their opinion in this thread or NAMEDCALLED ANYBODY HERE? Everybody here keeps saying I was namecalling but they have yet to tell me where and when I did such a thing.

Turn your back on this thread.
Go to another thread where you may have an agreement with the Original Poster and post that agreement.

This is a pretty tight board. We disagree on everything, some things and sometimes we agree on everything or some things. But just as a measure of respect we don't refer to a certain set of feelings or opinions in a derogatory manner. That's it. It's easy.

And you ARE welcome here, along with any opinion, right or wrong, that you may have.

Have fun. Even a losing game is fun because we get to RAGE on/to each other.

Agreed. We're all cheering for the same team every Sunday (and sometimes Monday, Thursday, and Saturday in the playoffs). The board would suck if we all agreed all the time ... wouldn't be any interesting discussion.

here's to it boys - WE go all the way. WE are the team that makes the NFL re-think the home team advantage in the Superbowl. I love have the SB in NOLA every few years but WE are the team tha puts it in Memphis, or Vegas or Honolulu (while we ditch the pro-bowl)

Brother try and relax. This is a casual forum, filled with South Louisiana folk, it seems we are a fairly relaxed personality in contrast to where you are from. You are correct and this is a forum, but no one comes to this sanctuary to argue. Discuss and debate yes, argue ... not so much.

We are all here for the same reason... To love the Saints, and share in our ideas and opinions. If two members do not agree... it is just that, an impasse on ideas, not an attack on anyone's intelligence.

This is not directed at you but to anyone or everyone that is involved and reads this post. Perhaps we should all take a moment before we make statements like "that makes no sense", "you are wrong"... etc... A proactive approach would be, "interesting observation, care to elaborate so I understand where you are coming from?"

P.S. Showoff Superman = Name calling... Being "called out" does not mean you have to retaliate... This is the internet and no one wins an internet argument. A less defensive posture might generate more discussion about the topic and less comparison of internet-penis.

And while we do name call here, that specific approach is reserved for Falcons fans, because they are not bags, or nozzles, they are the entire douche kit. :peace:

Sorry but people in PA are not so the same. You can probably tell from watching steelers and eagles fans that we're kind of uptight.

While I do understand your relaxation, I only called people a "superman" because I felt that people here had done something similar to me( such as assuming I was banned from another forum). I don't want to be belittled.

I like it here. I really do. The people here aren't stuckup.

It's just that some need to elaborate and realize that people don't understand.

I love it when a poster pulls the ole "hey look at how many likes I have" to prove their point, which is usually not a good one. I also love it when some noob comes on this forum built of members who have been together for a long time and try to act like a superior know it all.

If you think that everybody that's new is just a noob and you're elite just cause you've been here longer then this forum will far apart cause then it's just 5 guys talking.

By the way, the last guy said no namecalling yet here you are throwing the word "noob" and "know it all" around. Clearly being on here a long time hasn't done much for you.

And I said I had a lot of likes because it means something. It means that I'm not some devils advocate trying to feel different just to be cool. It means that my point might actually make sense and actually is a good point(unlike yours which has been reduced to namecalling and this elitist ego that you've given yourself).

I'm erasing this thread from my memory banks. I meant it to be a positive statement about the quality of the organization and to head off the Chicken Little Syndrome that might occur if we struggle a little coming out of the gates. Instead it turned into head butting contest. :(

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and hopefully we learn something about how to handle disagreements from this thread.

This is exactly what I was talking about.Not the horrible start but the people spitting venom at everyone from Brees to Spagnuolo. Can't say I'm disappointed at the reaction because I expected it but I am disgusted.

I am disappointed with the 0-3 start. I thought they'd come out with more determination than this. It's not even the record it's the lack of intensity.

So the season is over and guess what? The worst part of it turned out to be all back biting (so called) fans.

The boards are filled Brees hate, fire everybody, cut the whole defense, so and so has no heart etc, etc. Get a grip people! No matter how much we deluded our selves this season was doomed from start. Yeah, even with all the sanctions we could have done better but we didn't. But these players that have been so good for the last half decade didn't suddenly become a bunch of losers with no heart who are collecting paychecks.

The fact is that we were a rudderless ship with a void at the top. Even with all the obstacles we were still in just about every game. We could have easily won 9-10 games this year. Not bad for a team with no coach.

Next year we take our division back!
