This is how my brother proved in creds:
You know you're a Saints fan, when you're a University of Florida alumnus living in Charlotte, and the weekend of BCS Bowl and the panthers-Cardinals playoff game, you wear an Arizona tee-shirt to work because the panthers losing is more important than your alma mater winning the national championship!

Geez, Mike.. you have too much free time, my brother :)

I've seen those before here and there... most of them are very generic and would apply to any fan of any team. We should start a list of true Saints related lines.

uh uh, no way, Toby--- a lot of these only work in New Orleans, for instance:

--if you can listen to "the point after" without an interpreter. (aint nobody else got a Cajun Cannon)

--when you can spell fleur de lis and lagniappe but cant spell your favorite beer budwiser. (only here, dude)

And then there's our distinct Curse:
--if the Saints are winning by seven with 20 seconds left to play, the other team has fourth and 23 on their own 15 yard line, and you just know the other team will score with no time left, go for 2, and win the game. old guys, this refers a particular game, doesnt it?

Here's the icing statement: You know you are a Saints fan if you weren't the least bit surprised when Carney missed the extra point.

But yeah, I'm sure we can come up with more Only In New Orleans/Louisiana/Gulf Coast liners. Jump into my "gris gris" thread and

Sure a lot of them work, but most of them are generic enough..

maybe something like "you know you are a Saints fans when you start a gris-gris thread on your team's forum" :)
