If you're a glutton for punishment, here is the last 3 minutes of the Saints @ 'Niners playoff game (Jan 2012). It shows all three:
1. Alex Smith's bootleg 2. Graham's catch & run for a TD, and 3. Smith's late TD pass to Vernon Davis Painful to watch, but this season will be better! WhoDat! |

I gotta go with the "Lynching". Our defense has great moments but tackling is an Achilles heel and it showed up in the playoffs of all times! Oh the pain!

Ok, I'll add mine.
1980's game, Saints at home against LA Rams (LA then). Saints were thisclose on their way to playoffs. The Dome was at a deafning pitch. Police were around the Dome 's field on horseback to make sure people did not get too crazy. Something happend and the LA Rams scored in the last bit of the game and the Dome was as silent as a morque. To this day, that is all I remember. It was a blur. And here it is which we all chose to forget ... 1983: With an 8-7 record going into the final game of the season at the Superdome against the Los Angeles Rams, the Saints have a chance to finish with their first winning season, while earning a playoff berth. However, Rams kicker Mike Lansford kicked a 42-yard Field Goal with :06 left to defeat the Saints 26-24, and advance to the playoffs. I still like to remember it best as blur. |
