I think you're reading something that isn't there.

Here's the quote you're probably referring to...
"I believe any way that the coaches need me to contribute in this offense, that's what I'm going to do and that's what I'm happy to do," Ingram said. "In my eyes, I've always thought that I'm an every-down back, an all-purpose back, a guy who can run inside, a guy who can run outside, a guy who can run routes and catch the ball out of the backfield and pick up yards for you, and a pass protector. I don't label myself as a short yardage back or a power back. I think I'm an all-purpose back that can play for you on every down no matter what it is."

And from that you got he's unhappy with his role in this offense? Thats a stretch.

Why on earth would we trade Ingram? We haven't even fully worked him into the rotation yet? We really don't know what kind of back we have in him. The sky is the limit for that guy. Im not saying trade PT but if I was forced to pick between the two i would trade PT. Ingram is younger and from what little I have seen from him is a mad man. I think you are going to see exactly why we drafted him the way we did this year.

I wouldn't consider trading Ingram yet.
Injuries hurt him last year.I still have hope he can step up when needed.

I wouldn't trade PT. But if I had to, it would be for a 1st and a 3rd in 2013 and a conditional pick in 2014.

I would be willing to trade ivory or cadet for a linebacker or 3rd rounder...

The Lions have been said to be on the phone trying to trade for a back, we have 5? Just saying?

NFL Draft Zone – Detroit needs to be on the phone with New Orleans, NOW

Re: Could we trade Pierre to the Lions?

Any running back traded to Detroit could come back to haunt the Saint's in the future. Nevertheless I love Cadet and think he will be an every down back in the future, if you can get a 3rd for Ivory I'd jump all over it considering allhe does is fumble and get hurt.
