... After we blow up RG3 and skins in week 1? It's gonna be hard to stay under the radar especially if we then extend our wins by beating Carolina. Some media fictions will be laid to rest early this season.

From everything I have heard the pundits agree with you. They say first game jitters and the speed of a full contact all out game will hurt his production. Im not so sure this one will be a blow out though. No tape on him, and Washington plays us well. Im not gonna count my chickens before they hatch.

RGIII is good. The talent around him with F. Davis at TE P. Garson at WR is good. It should be a comfortable win in the dome, but it's not going to be a blowout.

We ALWAYS have trouble with Washington for some strange reason. I will be satisified with a win no matter how big or small

If we win(which we should) the pundits will say that the defense is still full of holes, as is our coaching ranks. Also, that it was
RG lll's first game.
If we lose they will say that we didn't stand a chance this season

Just guessin but...

If the Skins score more than 14 points it will be because the Saints defense is trying to recover from the bounty gate penalties.

If the Skins score less than 14 points it will be because RGIII is a rookie who is still establishing a rapport with his receivers and the Dome was too much for a first game.

They have some talent, but there is no reason to think we can't win by 14-17. I agree with you- I'll take a 1 point win. All that counts is a W. I have a feeling we are going to come out balls to the wall ad with something to prove. I think the deadskins are about to be obliterated. I am prolly wrong, wouldn't be the first time, but something about the first game, home, and after this off-season

What will they say if we lose? You seem to have forgotten that we don't have a coach and some of our key players will be missing. I predict a close game, won by a field goal at the end.
