Saints ready to shed scandal, too
The New Orleans Saints are this week's Penn State Nittany Lions.
How's that again? On Saturday, Penn State took the initial step in putting some distance between itself and a scandal. When the Nittany Lions took the field at home against Ohio, they were trying to turn the page, to shift everyone's attention – including their own – to the future of the football program. I was about to say something until I read this
"The Saints' offenses weren't anything close to the seriousness of Penn State's. " |

Re: Saints ready to shed scandal, too
I am still going to say it - DONT EVEN MENTION US IN THE SAME BREATH AS PENN STATE
A. No proof against us B. nothing to do with having sex with children (how can anyone let this happen to protect their program??) |

Re: Saints ready to shed scandal, too
Comparing a bounty or pay for performance scandal that likely hurt no one, to a man who has been found GUILTY of sexual molestation, in front of an organization that swept it under the rug, is not only disrespectful to the victims, but downright deplorable. The writer of this column should be taken out back and shot.

No comparison. We still have a banner of our coach at practice. They had to remove their coach's statue.
