Good afternoon B&G Fans!! Lets make it a great week! Em |
Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
Good job as always. Looking forward to another year of your take on things sir!

Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
Great preview once again!
I think that you're completely right about the run game of the 'Skins vs the run D of the Saints, but if Hawthorne is able to play along with Lofton - I think that the LB corps will be stout against the run even on the edges. RG3 will be the X factor like you said, I haven't yet seen him play since I don't watch college football nor have I watched any of the 'Skins' preseason games, so it'll be interesting to see what Spags has in store for him. |
Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
Nice indeed. One thing I could see developing in this game for the Saints is the run. I think Ingram and PT are going to take this game over early.

Statement game, unfortunate start for RG3.

Emory: Great analysis, as usual.
I disagree with your giving the 'Skins D-line the advantage. Even without Will Smith, the Saints are greatly improved, especially at NT. The youngster Hicks has developed rapidly and cannot be blocked one-on-one. Also, the Saints' LB corps with Lofton at the Mike and whoever Spags has at the Will & Sam will match the 'Skins LB'ers as well. Personally, I don't see ANY area where Washington has a BETTER group. And if you think Washington's TE is better than Graham... think again, bro. Anyway, I always like your predictions. You do a pretty decent job... keep up the good work! |
Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
They have a better group of linebackers.

Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
Yep! Always good analysis of strengths and weaknesses on both sides.
My biggest concern is the unknown, RG3. He can beat you with his arm and his legs; I'm hoping he does neither. If we had to pick one, I'ld rather keep him in the pocket and make him throw. Zone him to death. He's bound to miss someone lurking in the shadows. Saints 34, Spags-defense gives up 24. |
Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
Thanks Gang!! This is an good matchup for the Saints to see how improved they are over last season.. The Saints OL, DL, LBs, DBs will get put to the test.. This is a great opening game in my honest opinion

Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
The Redskins, historically, have always had good linemen on both sides of the scrimmage line; it's when they get talent at the skill position that they pose a threat...

Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
This will be the first game for a new defense. Our 2 best LB'ers missed a lot of the preseason. Our back up corners have done pretty good things, but our starting corners haven't gotten much time in either. Hicks looks like he will be a force. It's his first game. I could see our offense carrying us again for a win at home.

Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
Good job as always, RG3 will get welcomed to the NFL sometime during this game, at least one pick 6 by the Saints D

Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
I'm late to watch, but great job Emory! I always enjoy your team breakdowns...

Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
I am nervous. We don't play Wasgington well & I am worried about the fact that we really have no film on Griffin

Re: Football Gameplan's 2012 Saints vs Redskins
Well played, Emory! We always agree when we all agree the Saints will win!! LOL
And to boot, it will be televised in Anchorage! My lucky day!!! Alaska |
