New Orleans Saints wide receiver Nick Toon was placed on the injured reserve list ending his season before it even started. Toon had been battling a left foot injury for the entire preseason but he finally played in the Saints’ preseason finale against the Tennessee Titans.

I think I remember that he had foot issues in college. I have never had to worry about injuries at the WR position, this year I am not so sure. Colston will probably play imo, but it makes you think about what would happen if he did in fact go down.

The great thing about our offense is that we can survive WR injuries, not worried... We already almost have too many weapons...

once again i sit here and scratch my head whenever some one says the saints are deep at wide receiver.

colston is solid but injury prone #1

Henderson is still trying to fill the number two roll.

Moore is a solid slot wr

But if he goes down and we have nothing but 4th rate wide outs and a few mystery projects we hope can step up.

he has driven me nuts long before he joined the saints. i always thought he would have a solid career at wr in the nfl. maybe the light has finally turned on
