I thought it would be good to get some things out in the open. Not so much for our regular members but for some of the opponents fans that may stop by to troll or have discussions. E.G. Falcons fan comes in and states "x".... He can be forwarded to the CSM thread and come talk when he understands we are not a bunch of Dion Sanders want to be's here. We have intelligent discussions about football. Not to steal something from W&J, but B&G is the board for the 10%rs, and BS will be called out.:bng: |
Re: Commonly Stated Misconceptions
One thing that bugs me: the run sets up the pass BS look at the Saints last year, theory busted

But there would be a couple of problems there. How many numbers in the 80s can you have (WRs would have to give up their 80s numbers)? And, more to the point, how would the zebras keep track of which TEs were receiver eligible and which one's weren't? |

Re: Commonly Stated Misconceptions
With the scab refs in service, this would be the week to try the 8 TE set, you know they would screw it up somehow

Re: Commonly Stated Misconceptions
"Defenses do not win Championships"
I'm thinkin' maybe that should read, "One very strong side of the ball wins championships." Lately, it's been offenses, but we've seen some D's win that game as well. I'm not gonna look any further than the Ravens and da Bears for word on that. Hell, da Bears even had the defense playing offense. |
