wishing they would have held onto Porter right about now.

look this is the first game for the DC to check out the players and start to tweak his system to fit the players, Plus this will be the first real butt chewing they will face.

i give him 3 games and then we should see progress in the defense

Ok offense "Dead Horse" comes out in me.

OFFENSIVE TACKLES NEED UPGRADING !!!!!!

But till then we need to see a better protection scheme from the saints. backs and TE chipping on each play ect ect ect ect

How many awful performances has our offense had in the last 5 years? They've consistently been a top 5 unit since Brees got here, and I bet there are 30 teams out there that would love to trade offenses with us. Yeah they stunk today, but i'll out money that they step up and finish ranked higher than iur defense does. Anyone that thinks differently has been living under a rock since '06. I hope I'm wrong about Spagnola, and if I am, I'll be the first to man up and say it.

IT's not SCHEME, it's PERSONNEL.
Spagnolo is a good D-coordinator when he has Michael Strahan coming off the edge.

In my opinion we really had a shot until that Gosh darn 12 man penalty. That guy, that player should be let go.

Colston's fumble was a killer too. We score a td like we should have there and its a different game.. sigh..

25 points by the O - regardless of how they played - should ALWAYS be enough to win. It looks like we'll be in weekly shootouts, AGAIN. It's getting old.

On the other hand, 2 to 1 time of possesion will almost always lead to a loss. 1st game in a new defensive scheme. Defense needed some help from the offense and didn't get it.
