No... that is not what we are going to go this year. its not going to be the score in this years Super Bowl...
It is the regular season record of last years Super Bowl Champions. We did not look unskilled, terrible, or like one of the worst teams in the league. We looked flat and out of synch on offense. Defense ALWAYS (with the exception of last year) takes a game or two to get up to speed. There is no tape on this QB in the NFL... Nada... We basically had to go in with a vanilla game plan and adjust. Shanahan knew that.... Which is why he ran a game plan that set the pace at as soon as we could adjust it changed... That first 6 plays were all the same just changed sides. the next 6 were all the same but flip flopped sides. RELAX... Settle down.... Don't loose your frikken mind thinking we cant do this with out Sean Payton... Don't blame the loss on lack of Payton... Need I remind you we lost to Tampa bay AND Seattle WITH Sean Payton... This is not as bad as it looks. We will be fine... I would rather we peak at the end of the season anyway... So when you feel your self panicking (I do it too)... Think 9-7 The Giants took the whole frikken pie going 9-7 in the regular season... We ARE a lot better team that we saw on the field today. We has some beautiful tackles today and I have not seen that in years.. Move away from the light ![]() |

Re: 9-7
Drew had no time what so ever
Our o line got man handled We made rg3 look like joe Montana in his first game in the NFL we lost devery Henderson and are running short on WR's now Is this defense going to be better? I have no idea....but I don't like how we started Yeah the offense let us down massively today, but the defense still let a rookie QB put 40 points on us |

Re: 9-7
im not losing my mind after one game, its only week one. but, how many times have we started the season badly in the 5 years, and ended the season well? none.
theres a lot of things we need corrected. defensively, our linebackers looked like crap. granted, they're coming back from injuries. too many missed tackles by the defense as a whole. secondary wasnt too bad, but, certainly far from great. the defensive line got pressure, but, couldnt bring down the qb until the 4th. granted, not all qb's are that hard to bring down! offensively, the offense was, for the most part, offensive. recievers had trouble getting open and had troubles bringing in the ball. we failed to utilize sproles like we did last year. what happened to utilizing him MORE this year? and the biggest gaping hole of a problem i saw was the gaping holes we were leaving for the redskins linebackers and dt's to come after drew. the o-line was by far the worst facet of the game today. rebound saints. get your stuff together. get ready for carolina. and rebound. cause if we dont, its gonna look a lot like it did today next week against cam. |

we played horrible today and the game was never as close as the final score indicated. we were never in the game today. and it was against a rookie qb in OUR dome. not even close. |
