Saints sign back to roster WR Adrian Arrington, place LB Jonathan Vilma on PUP who won't count against roster until after week 6, and sign offensive tackle Bryce Harris from the Falcon's practice squad.

Arrington likely wouldn’t have been active against Washington. He had knee surgery early in training camp to clean up a torn meniscus in his right knee. But after returning to practice on Wednesday, he didn’t practice again during the week.

Meanwhile, regardless of the suspension, Vilma was likely to end up on PUP to begin the season. He has been rehabilitating his left knee after he underwent two offseason procedures to help get it back in working order.

Vilma’s full season suspension was vacated by a three-member appeals panel on Friday, which found that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell overstepped his authority in punishing players in relation to the league’s bounty investigation.

He knows the playbook and contribute right away; probably only "need" him for a game or two hopefully Devery will be back...

if vilma is on the pup list, how many games does he have to miss now before the saints can activate him?

6 games I believe, not sure if the bye week factors in or not...

edit: or maybe it's after week 6, hell I can't remember
