Out for the Panthers Game
According to Twitter:
Henderson, McBride and Patrick are out. Shanle and Greer are questionable. No Henderson or Patrick, and Greer at less than 100%...I don't like the sound of that at all... |
I'd like to see Ivory and Ingram for this week. The defence will be weak with the injury. We could do with being able to kill the clock at times.

Re: Out for the Panthers Game
Guessing Pat Robinson will be on smith all day then
This will show us how good Robinson is We need this division game badly |
Re: Out for the Panthers Game
I think Smith might be a little under 100% on sunday. He and Jonathan Stewart have been listed a questionable. Although we know Smith is gonna play...he has been practicing with a brace on his knee and was sat yesterday because of swelling.

Of course, I had a good feeling about week 1, so that may actually be a good thing. :) |

Smith:
Steve Smith (knee) is listed as questionable for Week 2 after turning in a limited practice Friday. Coach Ron Rivera expects Smith to play against the Saints "without a doubt," and he should be locked into fantasy lineups for the 1PM ET game. We'll know Carolina's inactives around noon Sunday, but we fully anticipate Smith starting. Rivera's lack of equivocation is music to the ears of fantasy owners. Expect Smith to ramp up his practice reps on Friday in preparation for the intra-division showdown with the Saints. As long as Smith plays, he's a WR1 option in what should be a high-scoring game. Stweart: Jonathan Stewart (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 2 against the Saints, but practiced in full on Friday. The beat writers in Charlotte believe Stewart will be available for Sunday's game, which is a key one for the Panthers because they've started 0-1 in the division, losing a game they probably thought they'd win in Week 1 against the Bucs. They may push Stewart to play. He's largely hands-off from a fantasy perspective this week, but could add some juice to Carolina's offense. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Devery Henderson (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 2. Joe Morgan should see the most significant boost in snaps as a result of Henderson's absence, although he'll likely operate mostly as a clear-out route runner. Lance Moore is now a player to consider as a WR3 against the Panthers. Moore racked up 120 yards and a touchdown on six catches in the opener. |

Saints list three as out against Panthers, 2 others as questionable | wwltv.com New Orleans
Meanwhile, linebacker Scott Shanle (right leg) and cornerback Jabari Greer (sports hernia) were both full Friday but were still listed as questionable. Greer is the more likely of the two to play. Without him, the Saints would only have three cornerbacks available – Patrick Robinson, Corey White and Jerome Murphy. On Sunday, when the Saints play the Carolina Panthers, Greer finally expects to get back in the game after a training camp sports hernia kept him out of all of preseason and the season opener. “Getting out there and getting some tackles and really getting the emotional part of the game, I look forward to that,” Greer said. “I really do. You can’t visualize that. You have to go out there and do it.” |
