We no 0-2 isn't what we wanted... But look back what spags did with the giants D n 2007 the first 5 weeks they allowed the most points n the nfl then he brought them to a 3rd ranked D n the nfl ... And SB win so jus be patient we will be fine ! Who Dat !

We have the offense so overcome an 0-2 start.

But I have seen precious little from our defense to give me much hope.

However, we cannot just hope we are going to magically turn into the Giants Super Bowl winning team. We have to show something on our own.

I'm not going to look back into history to justify somebody's performance. I'm going to judge based on what I see on the field. We now have two weeks worth of evidence that establishes one thing: Our defense sucks.

There are 14 games left. They could get better, and lord I hope they do, because frankly I'm not sure they could possibly get worse, and watching this level of play every week is just brutal.

As of right now, we suck.

Think positive! The Saints always seem to want to do things that hard way!

Hopefully they will get it done! No disrespect to the coaches on the sideline but I do wish we had Sean controlling things out there!!!!!

Maybe if Vilma somehow doesn't get suspended he will be a huge addition to our D. We need more talent on that side of the ball. But I hate to say it, we need some WR help as well. Not sold on Joe Morgan.

Sure we can get better. But we've got a long way to go, and that's not what any of us expected going into this season. Crap, I'm as guilty as anyone of thinking we were primed for a playoff run. I sure don't think that anymore ...

This is looking like it's going to be a real long season. The defense is as bad as I've ever seen. The lack of pass rush is ridiculous. This is really the cause of the rest of our problems on defense, can't expect any DB to cover for 5+ seconds every down. I'm going to hold out the slightest bit of hope that maybe the run option offense is our kryptonite and we'll fare better against more traditional offenses. If not, our pass rushing woes may be solved by a high draft pick (Jarvis Jones, cough cough).

Well, we played the two most elusive QB's in the world. We only play 1 more QB with that kind of maneuverability over the next 14 games.

How many running QBs do we have left?

That possibility seems to really put our D in a funk... We stop the Offense until the QB holds it for longer than 3s or keeps it and runs.

We have faced two QBs that are very dynamic.

Exactly what I was saying. I think we only have 2 more games against these type of QB's. We face Cam again and Vick. We'll see what our D-line can do when they're not wetting the bed worried about the QB running every time he drops back. The struggles against mobile QB's is the only thing I'm holding out hope for. At least I'm trying to convince myself this...

We have Vick left, and to a lesser extent Rodgers and Romo.

Everyone else is fairly traditional.

Ohh, I forgot, Cam again, but we'll have clinched the number two seed by then so it won't matter
