Smuggle in two flasks instead of one?

Re: Adjustments you'd like to see for the KC game
I'd like to see us adjust our head. We need to remove it from our ass. If we do that we have a decent shot at a tie.

Re: Adjustments you'd like to see for the KC game
I'd like to adjust the points we SCORE by plus 14 to 21 and adjust the points we ALLOW but minus 14 to 21........

Re: Adjustments you'd like to see for the KC game
If we could do the opposite of everything we have done so far on defense, that would work for me.
In addition, if we could play like we are actively interested in winning the game, that too would be great thanks. |
Re: Adjustments you'd like to see for the KC game
More points in the Home score box than the Visitors score box when the game is over.
That would be a good starting point for me personally. Thanks Black |

Bottom line...
WIN THE FREAKIN' GAME At this point a win may be the only adjustment that may change the outlook surrounding this team. |

Re: Adjustments you'd like to see for the KC game
Our embarassed and dejected defense to actually show some pride and do their jobs. It is disgusting to watch so many players missing assignments and giving half hearted efforts. We have certain players on both sides of the football trying to make up for the deficiencies of others and by doing so they are causing more issues.

Re: Adjustments you'd like to see for the KC game
This might sound crazy, but when a guy like Thomas or Ingram has a good run and sheds tackles...I'd like to see them get another carry on the very next play.
Why does Sproles have zero carries through two weeks? I'd like to see Martez Wilson on the field more too. At DE and rush LB. He's the most athletic and probably fastest guy on the defense. Don't make it too complicated for him and let him get after the QB. |

Get Tez some snaps, let him fire off the edge with his speed Sed Ellis has to be let go next season, what a wasted draft pick that was Pretty much feed PT, he's our best RB and don't just throw to sproles, give him runs Aswell!! More picks More pressure on the QB better o line play = better QB play, no more dumb mistakes by drew All that equals a blow out win, I'm talking like the colts game 62 points That's what I want |
Re: Adjustments you'd like to see for the KC game
What, no solutions fellas?? There's certainly been no shortage of complaints for two weeks... lol
Here goes; 1. O line - must begin to play like the cohesive unit you've been for past 4 years. Brees under duress rarely wins games. Use twin TE's to chip. 2. The defense must limit big plays. "Confusion" is putting it lightly. I expected Spags' new system to be challenging - not astrophysics.. Our defense looks like an 11 man dizzy bat race!! 2-A. Stop the "read option" offense. Our D was torched two weeks in a row by a college style game plan. Carolina saw the weakness vs Washington and capitalized. 2-B. For pete's sake TACKLE SOMEONE! HARD!!! 3. Charmichael - make defenses guess. Our offense look predictable and lethargic. 3-A. WR's, dropped passes and mental lapses. Thank God for Jimmy Graham. Colston looks lost and Lance Moore is not a true #2. We need WR help. |
Re: Adjustments you'd like to see for the KC game
Ok since this is adjustments for the K.C. game, I'll give it a go:
OFFENSE: 1) More running and screen pass and less down the field. Our O-line can apparently plow some holes and we have the horses to fill them. 2) The run opens the pass rather than vice versa 3) Ball control, ball control. Keep the defense off the field and only have them in when necessary. 4) Zero turnovers (No fumbles and NO INT's) DEFENSE: 1) Shift the d-line over and create opportunities for both safety corner blitzes AND linebacker blitzes on 2nd and 3rd down 2) Pull a lineman and replace with a linebacker. Make 3 down linemen and 4 linebackers with 1 LB up or down in stance for a switch up. We have to start attacking the line of scrimmage and not allowing our DB's to be picked apart without a pass rush whatsoever. We simply DO NOT have the personnel to run a strong 4 down lineman approach. 3) Tip drills and catch drills for the DB's GALORE. Patrick Robinson dropped another Key interception Sunday. That should NEVER happen, especially from a DB. 4) Get that Bounty crap out our heads and start running an aggressive defense. In 2007 Spags defense with the Giants gave up 80 points in his first 2 games with the Giants. After that it tightened up. NOW IS THE TIME TO TIGHTEN UP! |

I couldn't agree more about Wilson, either. I look at DEs around the league and I see guys who are solid, fast, lean muscle. It seems like the days of the giant, lumbering DEs who just plugged holes are gone. Except Will Smith. He seems slimmer than past years but I would not refer to him as "lean," or "fast." We need someone who's out there keeping up with these speedy QBs. |

I'd like to see Jordan, Galette, Wilson be our primary DEs |
Re: Adjustments you'd like to see for the KC game
Haven't really zero'd in on how our defensive line looks on 3rd and long... but have we see the Wilson/Smith/Jordan/Galette combo on the field yet? Much of this was being talked about during the off season to generate more pressure with the front four.

Re: Adjustments you'd like to see for the KC game
Completely agree with Wilson.

Re: Adjustments you'd like to see for the KC game
Ya know, one positive that we can take away from this is that when Carmichael and Kromer had Payton around, they really did a spectacular job at their respective positions. Take Payton away and it is clear that these guys can't run the show without Payton here.
How is this a positive you ask? Because no owner/GM in their right mind will watch these games and want to hire them away from us to be a HC. Last year that was a legitimate worry, and we've seen what happened when we took Curtis Johnson away from our receiving corps. Kromer/Carmichael have proven that they are great position coaches, but they are just not ready to run the ship. So at least they should be sticking around NOLA to do what they do well for a little while longer |
