Try sitting in a bar and watching a Saints game and a Lions game simultaneously where they both go into overtime and lose. I swear, the similarities between these two teams is alarming ... it's almost like watching the same team switch uniforms and jump TV screens at times ... the crappy secondaries, the lack of tackling, the record-setting QB's passing game not there, the offenses, the dropped passes, the highs & lows ... I honestly was having chest pains and considered checking into the emergency room, seriously.

We get a high first round draft pick... but

Remind me again what pick did Goodell take from us this upcoming year?

I heard it was our first, if thats so then there is nothing good about being this bad.

With how bad we're playing I think we actually have a better chance of getting back our 2nd round pick. I think he'll look at the disaster our season was this year and consider it punishment enough. As much as I hate Goodell I think his goal was to cripple us for 1 season and so far he's been successful. I think if we were playing well he would of thought we didn't suffer enough and uphold his decision for us to lose our 2nd rounder.

Yeah if I understood right, Roger basically offered to give the 2nd round pick back if we just sit back and take all his punishment without a fight. So if that's the case, then I don't see us getting it back.

answer: I don't have to waste anytime this year thinking we might make it to the superbowl to lose in the playoffs like last year. Now I will just pull for every team that plays Atlanta.
