Predictions based on what I have seen so far
 

1) Like our offense last year, this year's D will set a NFL record for scoring (allowed) and yards (allowed).

2) Brees will not finish the season - taking too many hits and is going to get hurt

3) Wholesale purge of the the DL and the OTs next offseason.

4) Team will win 4-6 games at this rate and will draft top 10

5) Team will draft another overpaid DL who will eat himself out of relevancy by the end of his rookie year.

Totally agree except I think we won't even get 4-6 games, I think 3 is where we will finish and we should do what the rams do, trade our top pick for like two first round picks

Our defensive numbers so far, are right on a par with the historic 0-16 Detroit Lions team, and the 0-14 Tampa Bay Buccaneers actually had a better defense then we have.

If Brees is still with us in the San Francisco game, they ought to just go ahead and bench him for the week and start Chase for that game. They need to think about the long term future of the team versus what will probably be a pretty meaningless game. The Niners defense will absolutely kill Brees with our O-line playing the way it is.

I'm not trying to be fatalistic, but son of a defense.

This team WON 9 GAMES at home last year and now we are 0-2 to a pair of 2011 bottom feeders.

Could we turn it around? Sure!

But does ANYONE not see us sitting in another 0-4 hole this time next week???

0-5 if you ask me. We're not beating GB in GB, and the Chargers will likely light us up the following week.

I could see the Saints winning anywhere from 1 to 4 games this season.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that, it never goes away ... I wouldn't wish that on any team (except Atlanta) and I'd hate to see Goodell have the satisfaction.

I like the idea of benching Brees for meaningless games and letting Daniels play. Hunker down, ride the storm out and look down the road to a better day.

Well if we couldn't beat a bottom feeder last week what makes us think we can beat any team remaining on our schedule? I just hope we don't go 0-16

You guys are killing me. Not too long ago we were out the gate at 4-1. We didn't even make the playoffs, not even close. Ended 3rd in the division.

I'm saying this right now, if Kromer can get us a win, hopefully 2, when Vitt returns you will see a team totally capable of making the playoffs.

We are losing by and average of less than 7 points. We are right there.
I won't be stunned at all if this thing gets turned around. I would take the coaches we have right now over Ditka and Haslett. I would also take all the players over both their rosters (except Roaf).
