Hawthorne/Casillas ruled out for Packers
Saints WLB David Hawthorne (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 4.
Hawthorne pulled his hamstring in the first half of last week's loss to the Chiefs. Hawthorne's backup Jonathan Casillas (neck) has also been ruled out, leaving the Saints with a depleted LB corps of just Curtis Lofton, Scott Shanle, Will Herring and Barrett Ruud. Ramon Humber is eligible to return after serving a three-game NFL suspension, however, and could be activated as late as Saturday. Source: Baton Rouge Advocate |
Re: Hawthorne/Casillas ruled out for Packers
is there something we do wrong with players we bring in on defense
Hawthorne was a great player with the hawks, gets here....injured Chris Chamberlain.....injured we just can't catch a break That being said, I like Humber - He always seems to make big hits on RB's when he plays |

Honestly ere not much of a drop off from our 1st string to our 4 th string defensive guys. We will still look the same. Don't let this scare you

Lofton is doing good. Guess we are running with him, Humber and................Shanle this week. If Vilma was not going to be suspended again I would be happy with him, Lofton and Humber.

Heck, it can't get much worse. Maybe Ruud, Herring & Humber getting a little more PT will help somehow ...
