Tez needs to understand the pro game better; when to settle along the line of scrimmage and when to rush up field. He did this on Junior's sack when he stood up the RB, taking away Rivers' swing receiver. Tez is coming around, and I am excited about him.

Swilling had the smarts and instincts plus he played with 3 other great LB'ers in a Capers coached defense. Can anyone make sure Tez gets a hold of Swilling's phone number? Those two need to talk...

We haven't seen more of him because of his mental lapses (2 penalties in last night's game). A blatant and inexcusable holding penalty on the punt return team (at the line of scrimmage of all things) and his illegal hands to the face call on the 2nd and 37 in the closing minute.

I've noticed #95's penalties, and they seem to come at unnecessary and/or critical times in the ballgame this year and last. He needs to play smarter, which I'm guessing is why he's not on the field as much.

But what do I know...I'm a weather guy, and I've been frequently wrong before.
