What happened to the $10,000 that Cerullo supposedly gave Williams after no one earned it by knocking players out of the game?

This question bothers me tremendously. Why have we not heard anything about where the money wound up? I've always heard that if you want to get at the bottom of something follow the money trail.

Maybe Vilma should press charges for grand theft!

Gregg Williams claimed in his statement that he never saw any $10,000 from Vilma. That is just one of many contradictory between Williams and Cerullo's accounts.

Either one, or both, are lying because their stories do not jive.

Face it, there was no money. Vilma, Vitt and seven other players that were in every defensive meeting have already sworn in District Court before Judge Berrigan that there was no offer of $10,000 by Vilma.

Goodell could ask the courts to look @ Vilma's bank transactions and see if he withdrew $10K before the playoffs.

She was brought in by the NFL as the voice of authority, the voice of reason. Now we know she was nothing but a facade. Look around the corners and there is nothing behind it but deceit and lawyers saying don't look back here because the only thing holding it up are a bunch of 1X2" boards and duct tape.

I think you're right. I think she was brought in for the simple purpose of giving the investigation an "official" feel to it.

Yup, she was 100% brought in for "let's give this to a high profile lawyer with a big name, and have them read it over for CYA purposes" and she failed utterly at it -- which is not entirely her fault, the whole thing was shoddy, top to bottom. She was paid to read it over and approve it, billed by the hour, which she did. But man did they pull the ol' vaudeville hook on her really quick, and yank her offstage, or what?

Either that or she figured the $$ wasn't worth the hit to her credibility if the real evidence came out in court and was found to be lacking. Seeing as this is more of a possibility now, she could've done the "blackjack-dealer ending a shift move"- clap the hands, turn them over, and get out of Dodge.
