Saints are in love with a RB from Stony Brook University

As you know I am a scout who covers small schoolers, and there is one kid from Stony Brook University named Miguel Maysonet who the Saints are in love with. He is a tough runner and had 200 yards yesterday. What do you guys think of another running back? Check out his interview/article with me a while ago, and learn more about him

yep there is some buzz about the kid. he will start to climb the boards and when the workouts come in he will sky rocket up all boards and we will hear more about him.

problem is will we carry another 5 rb if the saints end up with him or will the saints trade more than one rb they have now?

DE, DT, OT and LB should be primary concerns this off-season.

We'll probably take a WR from Tennessee...

...and if you thought I was critical of the front office before...

And while those are our primary positions of need, how they'll end up as a priority will work itself out depending on how the boys take to Spagnulo's defense...

But I'd add DB to that list because Jabari Greer though good, can't stay healthy and it's become problematic...

He would be worth a look if he is available in the later rounds, but RB is definitely not a position of need. There is one offensive player I've got my eye on that could possibly be available in the mid-rounds. Quinton Patton, WR, Louisiana Tech. He's 6' 2", 190. In six games this year he has caught 55 passes for roughly 750 yards and 9 TD's. Last night against Texas A & M, he had 21 catches for 230 and 4 TD's. With Devery and Colston not getting any younger, the Saints may need to look at other options at receiver for Drew.
