LA - QB heaven
By it's size (population), Louisiana is only about 2% of the population of this country. However, it accounts for more than 10% of the QBs in the league. There are currently 8 QBs born in LA and 2 more that went to college in the state playing pro ball. At least 3 and maybe as many as 5 will start this season. Who are they? I'll tell ya:

I also played against two Manning boys - Peyton was REAL REAL good. I still hate him for what he did to us. |

Put Tim Rattay in the \"Schooled in Louisiana\" category....He\'s not from here originally....I believe it\'s Arizona, but I\'m not postive on that.

I think it\'s more a matter of where they play college ball. Southern College Ball. What about all of the great QB\'s in NFL history, not only from La., but from the SEC? Bart Starr and Joe Namath, and was\'nt Bradshaw from La. too and what about Favre from Ms.? I know you guy\'s can come up with alot more, help a brotha out?

Another former NFL QB was Bert Jones from good ol\' Ruston, Louisiana. \"The Ruston Rifle\" also played college ball at LSU and went on to a decent career with the Colts. Who can forget Bobby Hebert and Billy Joe Tolliver?

I completely forgot one that just played last night against the Seahawks...Doug Pederson. He is from Monroe and played college ball at ULM when they actually had a decent program. Another Monroe native and ULM alum is Bubby Brister.

This just goes to show you, WhoDat. Louisiana is now and has always been a hotbed for QB\'s directly or indirectly from Louisiana. What else do you expect from a state that is known for being hardcore football oriented? I\'d also like to add John Fourcade to the list. LOL.
