New Orleans out of running for 50th Super Bowl in 2016
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; A team cannot bid on a future super bowl until after they host the current one. No way the owners will consider anything for NOLA till the smoke clears & this ones over....

I don't think teams have any say at all; it would be the Chambers of Commerce of potential host cities that would try to convince the NFL to let city X host the Super Bowl.
