I was watching Notre Dame Play and Fell Madly in love with the " Real Gold " helmet look. Our Uni's look sort of Brown ...


I like em alot , Slap a Saints Logo On It & Get the Guys at Nike To come up with an original unique but , grown up Design I think it would be something to feel good about.

As Uncle Prime says , You Look Good , You Feel Good , You Feel Good You Play Good ...

I could be wrong but I feel like our helmets already DO have a little bit of that "patina" or sparkle to them, in person, the perfect amount of it, but it doesn't always come through in photographs or on TV. In person the helmets we have now, they definitely already have a subtle "glitter" effect, when the light hits them a certain way. Especially daylight or sunlight. SOmething about the lighting in the Dome or on TV kind of flattens them out. But it's already there, especially in person.

If I were digging for gold that's the color I'd be looking for. However, I like our helmet color.
