What do you expect out of Chris Ivory this week?

What has broken down with the defense that has surprised you the most?

“I think one of the obvious things, and our team is disappointed in this and it’s something that we’ve addressed and I’ve said this before, missed tackles are killing us."

Poor tackling has become an epedemic on this defense. I've never seen a team tackle as poorly as this bunch. How do you forget something as fundamental as tackling on a pro level? Very disturbing.

About damn time and watch how much better he runs the ball harder and and better than Ingram. I hate to pick on the kid because I know the rotation of our running backs it hard to get a ryhtem if you come out after one run but he just haven't show me anything since he's been here. I think our offence has a lot to do with it because we look to pass first but my opinion is that Ivory is much better back right now and the guy doesn't get a chance to show what he can do.

This is something that is plaguing football in general, everywhere. Its getting rare to see highschool and college teams that tackle really well and that carries over to the pros. I think it has to do with coaches being more and more interested in X's and O's instead of teaching fundamentals.

There were concerns when we started this season about Spags not having the players to pull off his defense. Those concerns have been proven to be legitimate.

Missed tackles have plagued us for 4 years now... presently there is no one with in 5 yards to tackle a receiver after he catches the ball and the gaps for the RBs are big enough to pass the Titanic through...

Problem... out of place and no one flocking or hawking the ball.

I get so disgusted about our tackling, I can't even watch the 49ers games because they are so darn good at tackling fundamentals compared to us. The 49ers look like a rodeo, or a defense from 20 years ago. No matter which defensive player it is, he wraps the ball carrier up and drops him.

He could provide a much needed spark. As others have said, it couldn't hurt, unless his poor pass protection ends Brees's career.
