Chaching, I will answer your question, since no other response seems forthcoming.

Gator was once a contributor to this board that many felt had something to say. He was kind of like the anti-Gumbo/Billy.

His views tended to be on the pessimistic... ahem... realistic side of the debates. He and Whodat had many battles against Billy/Gumbo, and actually those three (and Danno and BnB) are the reasons I joined this board.

He left because he felt that JoeSam was providing unequal moderating. I believe that it was not the case that JoeSam was being unfair/unequal, but Gator did. Gator vowed to leave and never return (and he promised that he wouldn\'t be like some of the others of us who \"threatened\" to leave and then didn\'t, myself included).

As far as I know, he is gone for good.
