Jimmy Graham exits injury report
We often get so caught up in who’s on the injury report that we overlook who isn’t.
Saints tight end Jimmy Graham has exited the injury report, four weeks after spraining his ankle, two weeks after missing a game against the Buccaneers, and one week after being a game-time decision for a Sunday night game against the Broncos. The fact that he’s not on the report, not even as probable, means that he’s no longer injured at all — if the Saints are interpreting the injury-reporting rules the way the Ravens do now, not before they were fined $20,000 for failing to report the shoulder injury to Ed Reed. Only four players are on the Saints’ injury report in advance of Monday night’s game against the Eagles. Running back Darren Sproles (hand) and receiver Courtney Roby (foot) are out, and linebacker David Hawthorne (hamstring) and receiver Joe Morgan (chest) are probable. Re: Jimmy Graham exits injury report
It's good to have Jimmy out there this year. He's not getting open and he's dropping balls and getting knocked down by a puff of wind but he's still a good target for Drew. It's a contract year for him and he is underperforming which could hurt his contract.
On another note I would like to see what Hawthorne can do. God I hope he's not just barely able to play. |
