AtlantaFalcons.com reports Atlanta Falcons DE Will Overstreet (shoulder) has been placed on Injured Reserve, bringing an end to his 2004 season.

The New Orleans Saints fired Joey Gallagher, a back-up water boy, today. Jim Haslett cited a lack of water for players during games as a major source as to why the Saints failed to make the playoffs for a fourth straight season.

In other news, the Atlanta Falcons signed free agent DE Darren Howard today after the Saints failed to make him an offer after using the franchise tag on him last season.
