Stop talking
The road ahead is far more difficult than the road behind... Yes we won a huge game against Atlanta... Now players are in the media....
Our defensive players are in the media smiling like they have held someone to under 420 yards this season.... Let it go and get your head back into the week. If McFaddens ankle is better you will have your hands full on Sunday, in Oakland.... out doors.. You are not constantly fairing well on the West coast... Let your fans enjoy, smile, and celebrate... You get back to work, you cant stumble even the slightest between now and the SB. |

Zat you, Xan?

Re: Stop talking
Amen!
|
Nope! LOL
It's someone that knows if Goodell or ESPIN sees the Saints players too happy for 37 seconds they will go public with another distraction. Look for something to come out this week. |

Re: Stop talking
Shanle and Lofton are the only two of our players who I've heard talking. They were responding to the foolishness of the Falcons. I have no problem with that. But whatever, it's killjoy week.
|
Look deeper... Shanle, Lofton, Greer....
We can do all we want... The players need to stay at work. |
Go to work Greerhttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/11/14/e9a3aby6.jpg

Re: Stop talking
Agreed, it was a GREAT WIN, but they have a long way to go.
|
Re: Stop talking
What's sad is......the very second that the Saints lose another game (and I certainly hope that DOESN'T happen).....half the fanbase will go back to saying we should lose out and get a higher draft pick lmao.
|
Re: Stop talking
Ive thought about this lose out and get a draft pick.. Only for one reason... If you need a QB... Other than that hell no.

It's like nobody remembers that players were doing the same exact stuff during the Super Bowl run in '09 and nobody really made a peep about them doing it then... I vividly remember Courtney Roby and Deverey and somebody else from the defense (Sharper maybe?) doing an autograph signing at a freaking Breaux Mart around this same time of the season in '09, and it wasn't even for a good cause, or helping little kids. Nobody busted their chops then. Other than the brief talk about the Falcons being classless, nobody from the TEAM has said ANYTHING about beating an undefeated team or being puffed up or anything that might indicate it's gone to their head. If you've seen someone say something like that, especially Greer, then please post the quotes, because I sure ain't seen or heard it. They DO grin a lot, nod their heads and say that same ridiculous "we just made the plays when we had to" mantra, which is what the defense ALWAYS says, after pretty much every winning game, or that they "DIDN'T make the plays when we had to" if they lose -- and that's ALL I've heard people on the team say about the actual Falcons game or about beating them. But I mean GOD FORBID one of our players should ever take a few hours after practice in the evening to do something to help out little kids out there. Just awful. |

What? This sounds like something a socialist would say. Just do it for the children.....please. ;) |
Re: Stop talking
I'm glad they/we get to smile at a press conference or any other reason for a change. Beats sitting there jabbering about how everyone in the locker room has character and is sticking together after another loss. Let em talk as long as they get wins.
