Why so little reports on...
Our BIG WIN today?? Usually you can't keep up with the threads during the week, but lately after games there's hardly any comments.
Do they not do interviews of the coaches and players after the games anymore? Guess I'll have to go looking. |
Re: Why so little reports on...
It was big yes, but I for one don't want anyone making a big deal about it. Only because there is so much more left for us to do this season. And in actuality all we have done is gotten back on course at this point, not gotten back on course and won enough to get to playoff island..... horrible analogy but you get what Im saying.

Re: Why so little reports on...
Because pretty much everybody knew how this game would go unlike the other games. Even the people who were screaming "trap game" secretly knew deep down inside that this game was wrapped up. But I completely understand reverse psychology ;).

They may not believe we can "do it", but we believe we can. I know we can "do it", whether or not we actually do "do it" remains to be seen.

Re: Why so little reports on...
Let's actually get to a legit 6th seed spot and see what the boards look like. For now, we are happy getting to where we are at and hopeful for the upcoming games.

Re: Why so little reports on...
Stop worrying about something that has little likelihood of occurring. Focus on revenge, and let the bigger picture fill itself in.
Somebody's got to pay. Make it the whiners. |
Re: Why so little reports on...
Saints are 5-5. .500
Good good good. They are on the upswing after a really bad...you know the story. I just posted in another thread. The Saints are on the upswing now. They have to keep that momentum going, gelling with each other, the coaches, still developing so-so defense, plays, etc. Everything else is outside, distracting noise. It is good to stay under the media radar and just win. The have to take it week by week and win these last few games. Some for a win and some for pride and a win like AtlFalcons at Atlantadome, whatever it is called. Saints have a tough, still long road ahead. Bad omen to be on the sports shows as story. Even when the Saints were red hot, even the SB year, they still were not the big story every week. That was A-Ok. |

Re: Why so little reports on...
I like this quote by Brees.
"They don't get any bigger than what we've got next week," Brees said. "I feel like we're in rhythm, but I don't feel like we've played our best football yet. It's been a crazy year. We've just now hit our stride. Hopefully, we can keep it rolling." |
