Big bully up next for Saints

If there is any team that has been a big bully to the New Orleans Saints over the years, it is the San Francisco 49ers.
I can remember growing up in the late 1980s and early 1990s and watching the 49ers dominate the Saints. San Francisco was just always too good, and every year, it managed to overshadow and put a beating on some good Saints teams. It all started with guys Joe Montana, Steve Young, Ronnie Lott and Jerry Rice, and recently, it has continued with Alex Smith, Vernon Davis and Patrick Willis. If you can remember, and I know every New Orleans fan out there hasn't forgot, the 49ers defeated the Saints, 36-32, last season during the NFC divisional round playoff game. It had to be one of the toughest and most heartbreaking losses in Saints history. At first, it seemed like the Saints would pull it out, right after a huge touchdown pass from Drew Brees to Jimmy Graham gave New Orleans a fourth-quarter lead. But in the final seconds, San Francisco did what it always managed to do to the Saints — crush their hopes and dreams when Smith connected with Davis on a short touchdown pass that won the game for the 49ers. The 49ers went on the NFC championship game, and the Saints season ended in devastating fashion. Read more: Big bully up next for Saints | HoumaToday.com |

Re: Big bully up next for Saints
They are BIG Bullies, but all that means is you gotta look them dead in the eye...... And punch them directly in the mouth!!!!

Re: Big bully up next for Saints
Damn straight! The Saints needs to out hit the 49ers this weekend. I wanna see Harper rush the QB this weekend. He has a knack of getting back there and laying the wood when he arrives.

Re: Big bully up next for Saints
This could very well turn into smash mouth, quickly !! I look forward to this game the most of all, it's going to show how much heart is in us. We win this one and things look very promising.

Re: Big bully up next for Saints
They are not bullies. We've beaten them pretty well since those days. The only reason they beat us in the playoffs is because we overlooked them because of beating them so easily in the preseason game and GW blew the last defensive series. We will beat them Sunday, book it.

HEY JACK BRING EM TO THAT DOME !!! Homie don't play that !

Re: Big bully up next for Saints
I would not put Alex Smith in the same sentence as Joe Montana. One player was great and the other one stinks up the field when he is on it.

Re: Big bully up next for Saints
I would like to see us do to them what the Patriots did to the Jest tonite.

We all know SF is a good team. We just need to exploits there weak points, like the OL pass protection being #31, but they will run on us having the #1 run OL. and I think Brees will struggle until he figures out the defense. But we can pull this off. Its going to be close though. |

Re: Big bully up next for Saints
Their defense is no joke. Brees has to be decisive and get the ball out quickly. The run game is a must. If all of that happens, we should win. The defense needs to keep up their play they have had for the past few games. It's going to be a tough game no matter.

Re: Big bully up next for Saints
As much as I despise their team, coach and fans I know this will not be an easy game. I want it bad.
