Colston Sets New Saints Career TD Record

On a 10-yard TD reception from Drew Brees in the second quarter, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston has set a new franchise scoring record with his 56th touchdown, eclipsing beloved running back Deuce McAllister's previous benchmark.
Congratulations, Marques! You deserve it, and we all look forward to you adding more to it.

You can't spell Marquis Clutch Colston without CLUTCH. :p

Congrats to a guy who was considered too slow to play WR and needed to bulk up and play TE in this league. LMAO!!!

Just goes to show that scouts really have no clue about how to evaluate players

Like you said colston was thought to be a very small TE, but sean payton and brees saw something in him when he turned up to camp

Releasing donte stallworth and starting colston turned out to be one of the best moves in franchise history

It was actually Joe Horn wasn't it? Either way it was a great move that proves this staff doesn't play favorites.

Joe horn played for us in 2006 mate, donte stallworth was let go when he wanted more money, thats why colston started

He went and signed with philadelphia and we met them in the playoffs that year

Joe Horn signed with the falcons in 2007 when he wanted more money, didnt work out well for him lol

But yeah your right, great move by the coaching staff and a brave call that definitley payed off
