Re: Where is the....?
LOL..was like wtf is going on here but I got it. We tried one and it failed badly. I think it would have been usufull when they knew we had to pass. But the boring OC didn't call it.

Re: Where is the....?
This whole game was really weird because there were several things I expected to happen offensively, that didn't. I expected to see Pierre Thomas pounding the rock, catching balls, and just bowling over people. I expected to see Ivory pounding the rock. I expected to see the above-mentioned pictographs, especially involving #23.
I will say this -- I've noticed the screens have been occasionally getting blown up a good bit, this year. Teams have been studying film, and have apparently figured out when it's coming or what it looks like as it develops now. There have been times when Drew just has to throw it into the dirt. More than there used to be. |

Try using Ingram or Ivory on a screen instead of PT or Sproles. Something no D would guess before the snap. |
Re: Where is the....?
As much pressure as they were getting, it was prime time for the screen game. I was just as confused as the rest why they did not try it.

Re: Where is the....?
If you note the Saints generally run screen passes to PT to the right. I expect that being down to our 4th sting right tackle limited our offense, especially the screen pass.

Re: Where is the....?
The defenders were going through the O line like water through a wire screen.

Re: Where is the....?
As many people as I hear calling for the screen, would have been in here hollering and screaming if he calls that so creen play and they sniff it out for six or worse it goes horribly wrong and Drew gets hurt. Again, Timing play with veteran tackles, not a timing play with Street free agent that has never seen your playbook. I understand the frustration because I really wanted to beat the 9ers but we will get other ops to get them.
