New court order suggests Judge is leaning against NFL in bounty case
On the same day that former Saints assistant Mike Cerullo testified in the bounty appeal hearing convened by former Commissioner Paul Tagliabue, Judge Helen Berrigan issued a reminder that she has ultimate jurisdiction over the process.
And she hinted that she’s leaning against the league’s position. New court order suggests judge is leaning against NFL in bounty case | ProFootballTalk |
Re: New court order suggests Judge is leaning against NFL in bounty case
So many troll NFL fanboys say we should just shut up and take our punishment.
Wonder if the NFL will shut up and take their punishment - LIKE MEN?? |
Re: New court order suggests Judge is leaning against NFL in bounty case
Cool... she can order our Number Two picks back and fine the NFL one billion dollars.

Public apology and the return of Sean Payton, draft picks and money.
|
Re: New court order suggests Judge is leaning against NFL in bounty case
Plus any withheld pay (plus interest and 20% penalty on that pay)
Legal fees for players, NFLPA, etc. draft picks returned (holdover pick from last year that was taken away and can make it at any time of the next draft - preempting any other pick). Basically give Saints any pick of the draft in any round. |
Re: New court order suggests Judge is leaning against NFL in bounty case
Goodel steps down because he's an ignorant ****tard that reactes to kneejerks.
|
At this stage ill be happy with the second pick back and a additional second round pick.
As much as I'd like to see apologies to the Saints and Sean its not going to happen publicly. They will send out a press release saying the suspensions have been overturned via appeal. The Kommissar will claim he was trying to enforce the players safety. I just want the season over now.Its been a disaster but if we still don't have a second rounder in the 2013 draft the cloud will still be hanging over the club till next July/aug. |
Re: New court order suggests Judge is leaning against NFL in bounty case
We could all class action sue the Commish and the league for damages ... he could easily be served when he shows up for the SB in New Orleans. Al Davis, please help us all wherever you are!

Re: New court order suggests Judge is leaning against NFL in bounty case
The NFL will never be able to undo the damage done to the Saint Organization this year. A good start for an apology would begin with firing Goodell.

Re: New court order suggests Judge is leaning against NFL in bounty case
Yes, he led an shotty investigation and made horrible decisions without having proof. He could of easily fixed this back before the season or in week 2. He didn't and continued to screw us over even though he knew he was wrong. He should be forced to step down.

Re: New court order suggests Judge is leaning against NFL in bounty case
Sick of all of it. What is done is done. No matter what they say or do, it will not change what has happened. I'll leave this one to God since he forgives and forgets, because I NEVER will.
WHO DAT for LIFE! :bng: |
Re: New court order suggests Judge is leaning against NFL in bounty case
NFL should reinstate Payton, give us back our draft picks, and give us an automatic bye into the playoffs

If Court overturns NFL on bounty gate...
Saints should get an automatic, supplemental bye into the playoffs, along with the reversal of all the punishments. The team has been working their butts off, fighting their hearts out, with no coach and piece-meal leadership/direction. I feel bad for the players - they deserve better.

I think all Saints ticket Holders should get a class action suit going, especially if the Saints are found not guilty.
