I smell yet another Ginsberg lawsuit against Goodell and the NFL... instead this time he'll be representing Tom Benson and the Saints. He'll get our two second rounds picks back and more possibly, along with compensation for the SP unjust suspension, to name a few.

"We the court find you GUILTY! You are hereby sentenced to ... freedom".

I bet the NFL will try to reach an out of court settlement to avoid the embarrassment. We'll see if something that Ginsberg and Vilma want to take.

I have only read some of these threads. I get what others are saying like Smashmouth.
Too bad, too sad.
2012 is ancient history now.
Careers for people for 2012 are over and done for 2012.
What can you do now? Redo August 2012 to December 2012.
Do you understand what I am saying?
Yes, I understand , for reputation sake, if there is any room for finishing this in court, ok.
It will save 50 % of whatever, but still, sad end is careers and this team was broken down for 2012.

Vilma's case has more legs now than a centipede! I hope Vilma bleeds Goodell dry.

The owners have to be freakin livid. This whole process has cost them millions, 10's of millions all for what and there is still no gavel hitting the desk. Vilma's case is still ongoing, Benson just challenged them, and no telling what other lawsuits are being wrote up after today. Roger is suppose to be a wedge between the owners and the players. He failed the owners and he failed the players grievously. He also failed the fans by not trying to work out something with the refs. They would be wise to immediately oust him after the SB and start repairing the damage he has inflicted before next season. If he loses that defamation case that should be the final straw for the owners. It's almost impossible to prove slander, and even harder when you are going up against an army of lawyers.

You're missing the big picture. A very big picture. Yes players and coaches would like vindication, but it's clear people who made up their minds in the beginning that the Saints were guilty, will always believe that no matter what. What this is about now is getting the facts out that Goodell has ruled with total bias, and complete disregard for people's reputations, all in the name of saving his ugly face when the retired players suit comes rolling in.

By showing this, it will, or at least SHOULD deter Roger from ever trying anything like this again. Tagliabue's ruling has shown both Goodell and himself to be dishonest. He has essentially declared that the Saints are both guilty and innocent at the same time. And, as we know, that is not possible. They refuse to admit being wrong. Just like a child, when they know they're in trouble and can't defend themselves, they say "He made me do it".
