All this is is a smoke screen for the rest of the country who hasn't been paying attention as closely as we Saints fans have. The evidence of a bounty still hasn't been presented and nobody has been vindicated. It allows Goodel and the league to say "See we're fair. We brought in an independent party and they corrected our mistake ." Meanwhile our team has still been wrecked, the season ticket holders were still ripped off (the suspensions weren't announced till after the tickets had to be paid for) we were stripped of a second round draft choice and we still had to suffer through this abomination of a season.

I'm glad for the players but I'm even more pissed of now than I was before.

Yup. But if we're lucky there will be some media coverage out there, that makes it look like the league did something wrong with the whole investigation, and portray it that the players have been exonerated, which will make people (and the 31 owners) question the original version of the story, and question Goodell and his handling of it. It ain't over yet.

It's nowhere near over with yet. SaintsBro is right. I'm still holding on to the hope that we get our second pick back. I mean it's not fair to the college players entering the draft to get ripped off an opportunity to play for a great winning organization.

Especially with the prior fines to other teams being noted in the ruling at $25 K.

I guess GB & NE really helped out with the investigations in '07 & '08.

I agree. This is the league's attempt to sweep it all under the rug before it gets too far out of hand ... for them!

The organization will still get monkey stuck on there backs. Coaches ands owner will need to get there best concil that money can buy. And make goodell the nfl goat squeel truth out of them. Or give us our pick back. They have what they wanted us out of the super bowl..

By that train of thought, no college players, coaches, or free agents would have ever wanted to come to the Saints.

The train wreck from this one season is miniscule compared to the train wreck that was Saints History before Sean Payton.
